Canada is Ready to Host the World!
OTTAWA, ON: Figure skating fans from around the world will be heading to London, Ontario for the 2013 ISU World Figure Skating Championships. The best 200 figure skaters in the world, from over 50 different countries will compete at the event from March 10-17, 2013 at the John Labatt Centre in London.
While the daily competition schedule is not yet finalized, it will begin with a full practice day for the competitors on March 10th and end with the exhibition gala featuring all of the medalists on March the 17th. All-event tickets include access to all practices, competitions and the exhibition gala.
All-event ticket packages will go on sale February 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. (ET). Two different pricings for the ticket packages are offered, $1,200 and $1,000 plus HST and applicable surcharges. They can be purchased:
- online at www.johnlabattcentre.com,
- by telephone at 1.866.455.2849 (North America) +1.484. 875.7493 (International direct),
- in-person at the John Labatt Centre box office.
Ticket purchasers may pay the balance in full at the time of purchase, or opt for a payment plan. Designed for spectators, the plan consists of three payments charged to the credit card used for the purchase on the following dates:
- Payment #1: 50% of final cost due at time of purchase.
- Payment #2: 25% of final cost due June 1, 2012.
- Payment #3: Remaining balance due September 3, 2012.
A plan to assist spectators with parking passes for the event is underway. More information including prices and how to purchase will be available closer to the event date. Single tickets, if available, will go on sale closer to the event dates.
